Almost a parable. About ages and refuge and sense of life and fall of worlds. About the way to define yourself. And the clash between long term childhood , with its innocence , and the real life. A beautiful- sad film. Admirable work of Kemal Alper as Yusuf, great storytelling and the atmosphere. A film about fundamental choices and the end of a time.

A unique story which is also highly empathetic

I have watched this finely crafted movie many times. Not a wasted word or scene. Evocative music. Perfect casting. This is a tiny corner of life powerfully evoked. My own life, on the surface of things, cannot be related in any way to the life of the this man making an awkward transition to adulthood and yet I feel great resonance with his experiences. In my opinion, this movie is high art.

A powerful cocktail of love, hatred, loneliness, fear and total liberation.
