STANLEY & IRIS, HOMER AND EDDIE, LOOSE CANNONS, SWEETIE and THE WHITE GIRL are the five films that are reviewed this week on Siskel & Ebert. There were a lot of thumbs down reviews this week including a very negative review on LOOSE CANNONS, which would end up on their WOrst of the Year list. I've always enjoyed STANLEY & IRIS but Siskel found it to be quite lame and especially Jane Fonda. Overall this was another good episode with some fun discussions as well as a pretty good debate in regards to SWEETIE. Fans of the series will find a lot to enjoy here but the bottom line is that the series still holds up quite well after all of these years.
