The autopsy pathologist dictates his notes onto what might appear to be a compact disc, a technology not available in 1955, but actually he uses a contemporaneous Voicewriter, a dictation system that records onto a 7-inch Edison Diamond Disc, which is playable on some record players with an adapter.
Aidan McArdle, who portrays Dr. Thomas Harvey (the pathologist who conducts the autopsy on Albert Einstein's brain) in this episode, has earlier played the role of Albert Einstein in the made-for-TV docudrama Einstein's Big Idea (2005).
