- It's a movie about an alien invasion, so yes, there are frightening scenes. Mostly just surprise attacks accentuated by the music, but nothing super intense.

Violence & Gore
- Within the first 10 minutes there is an alien invasion, a plane crashes, someone is shot in the head and someone catches on fire. This is just foreshadow to more violence throughout the film. Someone is strangled to death, a wounded woman covered in blood dies, an old man shoots himself in the head off camera but the blood stain next to his head on the wall is revealed in its entirety. A couple men are stabbed to death, a girl has her stomach opened up with obvious innards showing. There is more, but I suppose this is enough to get the idea that there is a moderate amount of violence and gore.
