ma-cortes13 May 2021
Gregorio : Jordi Sánchez is a traditional and conservative banker of right-wing ideas and Madrid Football Club fan , being happily married to Rossy De Palma and they have three misfit children . When a tragedy happens the family goes to Andalucía across a troublesome journey among father , son , daughters and relatives . All of them go to SanLucar De Barrameda , Andalucia , to throw ashes into River Guadalquivir. As a gay son : Eduardo Casanova is accompanied by his Senegal-born, Basque-African boyfriend , Athletic fan : Bore Buika , his pregnant daughter : Megan Montaner married to a Catalan , Barca Club fan : David Guapo , while another daughter : Silvia Alonso travelling with her Perroflauta or dreadlock sweetheart : Salva Reina . During the thunderous travel things go wrong until they arrive in Sanlucar De Barrameda .

A choral comedy that was a boxoffice hit in 2017 . Stars Jordi Sanchez as the grudge father who becomes involved in problem with his children and relatives along a tumultuous trip . The film displays all kinds of regional, politics, footballistic stereotypes , resulting in an agreeable comedy , with an enjoyable message about the real importance of a good , though dysfunctional family . Along with two protagonists , the grumpy father Jordi Sánchez and the good-tempered mother Rossy De Palma giving likeable interpretations show up an attractive support cast . Appearing their sons , daughters , lovers all af them are well played by Megan Montaner , Silvia Alonso, Salva Reina , Eduardo Casanova and adding veteran players as Paco Tous , Jorge Sanz and Antonio Dechent in brief but fine performances .

It packs a charming and sensitive musical score by Julio de La Rosa . As well as colorful and brilliant cinematography by Valentín Álvarez. The motion picture was well directed by Álvaro Díaz Lorenzo . He is an expert on nice comedies as La Lista Deseos , Los Japan , Despedida , Cafe Solo o Con Ellas . Rating : 6/10 . The flick will appeal to Spanish modern comedy enthusiasts . Worthwhile watching .

Lord, Give Me Patience is an interesting adventure movie for children and families.

The story is fantastic and very funny. The effects are very good, and the music is amazing.

The film doesn't have any bad parts or weak points.

I think the film is successful.

a unique family story...

Where sadness and laughter goes hand in hand, and if you want to get under the skin of a fictious family in a movie, then this is a film you should try out. I lost the count of hilarious moments to let loose my laughing spirits when watching this spanish comedy, with all the archtypes and great divides among people of the royal kingdom of spain. I can mention a black/senegalese fullblooded basque gay, a living fleetrap like romantic womanizer, a catalan barcelonic in law, and the allmighty madridian godfather of the family, leaving his homeground with his children to spread the ashes of the queen and natural glue of the family in her birthtown by the coast.

Its a complete and wellcomposed comedydrama thats dragqueen worthy, a film filled with prejudicial standpoints due to natural causes, and im sure that if you hate spanish and spanish film this will convert you into a better persona , thats the grumpy old mans recommendative to this movie, and a clear candidate for a sencond view later.
