Italy have superheroes 2
morrisfinito10 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Following the events of the first movie, now michele is a teenager struggling between loss and unrequited love. Suddenly his twin sister appear revealing to him that his real mother needs him for a dangerous mission.

Despite the two italian trailer (very well paced), the movie doesn't fully keep the promises of "action" that they depict and instead gives us a prospective of the past of the mother and the other powerfull people, which is fine, but in a first moment it can be misinterpreted. All an all good soundtrack, good story and good characters development: i hope in a 3rd part that will conclude for good the saga (let's hope to not have to wait till 2022).

a missed opportunity

So where did it happen with the film The Invisible Boys they really decided to create a sequel I want to tell you that I'm Italian so I judge it as an Italian film So I was very much expecting this film given that I liked the first film a lot and that was ittruly the proof and we Italians can make good superhero films made leaving those of others it's really incredible that this film really disappointed me I had really good chances of this sequel I swear this film has a lot of problems problems thatI can't even shoot But I tell you that the things I liked were the setting and the special effects but everything else is negative. For example, they put too many things into the story. Oh, for example, there's the mystery of the mother. And then afterwards there is a family resemblanceafter hourly divorce Oh my God but where is this story going then the characters he Baldo of acting So in the previous films he was okay but in this sequel the acting is really bad I swear because there isn't even one good actor Especially those of the more actorsyoung people are even much worse. So I'll tell you something. If in the first one I didn't really complain about the children about his bad acting, however the actor who plays Michele in this film acts much worse as he didn't do before but now we pay. Michele is really a programmer. Poorly developed and not Forget the title of the film or the invisible boy with hair his visibility only uses it a few times and uses that other power Sorry but then what's the point of the title then the character of his real sister could have been developed much better like character But thebad That is, his real mother seems like a bad copy of Magneto box office so it just fell flat.but it is much better than other bad Italian films because there are some that are truly unwatchable to conclude with a rating of 5.5.

An honest sequel
aceska-997991 October 2019
Italian public is not really used to appreciate or understand superheroes movies. Even more so if the setting is an Italian one. Recently Invisible Boy and They call me Jeeg demonstrated that a low budget Italian style superhero movie can be realized and can be both compelling and definitely Italian in the general mood.

Now Invisible Boy II has better special effects and a simple though effective plot. Nothing crazy special but coherent and solid, also with regard with the previous movie. Side characters are a bit generic but the main ones are quite good.

Don't expect a masterpiece but it's enough entertaining time to spend.

This movie is unratable.

This movie was a trip. I watched it years ago at Italian school. The previous lesson I missed, where the first movie in the saga was shown. Without the context, this spectacle of a movie challenged my strength, my sanity, and my humour. This film, had me on the floor. The stuff that goes down in the plot is absolutely wild. Watching without the subtitles just add to the whole experience. Some of the scenes, cliches and just general direction in general is something so extraterrestrial, it's hard to describe.

Honestly, it's worth a watch, simply because of how bad it is.

A Solid Sequel!

Warning: Spoilers
The Invisible Boy - Second Generation is the sequel to 2014's The Invisible Boy. There is a 3 year gap between where the first movie ended and where this one starts, however it's not bad to be honest and the story is honestly quiet decent.

The story follows Michele once again though his foster mother Giovanna has passed away in an accident and Bruno has taken all the credit for saving them back in the first movie. This has led to Stella falling in "love" with him as she believes he saved her. Anyway Michele's real mother is back and with her is Natasha, Michele's twin sister. I won't say anymore or I'll ruin the story however it's really quiet good and I'm happy to finally see a good sequel being made.

The casting is probably the best part, Ludovico Girardello reprises his role as Michele and once again does a great job. The beautiful Noa Zatta is once again back as Stella and does a brilliant job though she doesn't have much screen time unfortunately. Assil Kandil is just as cute and adorable as before in her role as Candela and I look forward to seeing her in future productions. Galatéa Bellugi is absolutely stunning and plays Natasha and completely steals the show! Her acting is on point and I love her attitude throughout the film.

The VFX and SFX are still not exactly top notch and showcase the limited budget of the film, however they are an upgrade over the first movie and a lot better and smoother overall. So honestly good job there as well.

Overall a well deserved 8/10 from me. The movie is a worthy sequel with a nice storyline, great cast and good visual and sound effects. Would definitely recommend watching it. Enjoy!
