Episode 2

Warning: Spoilers
Definitely not as strong as the pilot, but this was still entertaining enough to keep me intrigued and interested in the show moving forward. They need to find a way to make this different from Breaking Bad because right now we've seen two episodes and both featured story lines exactly similar to the acclaimed AMC drama.

Sure...

I'll continue to suspend some belief, see where this is going. Marty (Bateman) has some magical, silver tongue'd, ability of persuasion. Like a super power... both this episode, and the last, he talks antagonists into doing something to his benefit. Give it a couple more episodes, but if the writers can't tell a story without Marty verbally 'deus ex machina' his way out of every problem, I'm out. It's simply lazy storytelling, or, at the least, not compelling storytelling....

Take care about the money

Warning: Spoilers
So yeah we still follow the family to try to gain the money for Navarro and the husband will have som problems with some young people. And will lose some money. He talked for the assurance but it will wont work. And now there is the blue cat but is this really gonna work? I dont really know.

I found the tv show a little bit more calm and have less tensions even if we can feel the difficulties of the dad for the money and to take care of his family. Because Navarro Threat is still arround and they need to be careful about the bank and all legal stuff. But the tension is still here when we see the two policeman who know that Burde will find himself in some illegal stuff because of his recently behavior and that make thing more spicy and intriguing: they will catch him or not? How the husband will avoid them? And what about the money? Did he will succeed? Or not? Pretty interesting for now. Need to see more.

A slight improvement

A more likable second episode, that puts a brake and let us process all that's happened. We get to know more about the main characters and we are introduced to some new faces who will, undoubtedly, play a role in the future. I like how each of the Byrde family is given something to do and having their own personalities. Overall, a solid episode that's more grounded and offers insight of what's coming.
