So this episode features a fair amount of development in the plot as Coulson and Daisy actually manage to discover that SHIELD is in fact around in this world, being led by Jeffrey in an underground operation. This episode just keeps getting better and better as Radcliffe appears. He tries to assure the characters that this is Aida's fault and not his. I have little doubt she is the true villain. It's just great to see all these characters meet up. Mack appears but doesn't have as big a role as you would think.

It's still great to see all the characters contribute. The most intense scene is easily at the end. It features Fitz actually killing this woman named Agnes. You can really see the emotion in everybody's eyes in this scene, especially as Radcliffe is meant to be more sympathetic. Is this not the real Fitz? It's great to see Ward back on the team, well in this simulation at least. The showing of the Hydra logo still scares me. ***1/2

Warning: Spoilers
This episode makes me want to cry! it is just one punch to the heart after another. the writers pulled a cruel trick with having Coulson remember Daisy, they made us think the rest of the team will remember and so like 3 times in the episode (once with Mack and twice with Fitz) we were lead to believe people will come to their senses and we got fooled. The scenes at the end where Fitz shoots Agnes while Jemma watches are heartbreaking, especially after her impassioned speech...but it got even more cruel when Fitz says he wants to torture Daisy, yikes, evil Fitz is hot and all but he is very scary! I love seeing Mace as the leader of the resistance, and this new bumbling Coulson is so much fun, he was a very welcome comic relief to this depressing episode. I also really love the Mack & hope dynamic, the kid isn't a very good actress, understandable for her age and she gets better in later episodes, also she is cute and her relationship with her father is so sweet. it is really heartbreaking to consider the implications of her being unreal.

Deeply Disappointing

When the characters must make the stupidest choices in order to move the story forward it quickly becomes unwatchable.
