A GREAT WAY TO END A BEGINNING
charliegrindrod21 April 2019
Without a doubt, this is arguably the best season in RWBY. It's got heart, charm, emotional resonance, and most of all, a thrilling end to a beginning saga.

Easily the Best so Far

Wow. Just, wow. This volume was spectacular. Let me start off with the technical aspects. The animation is another improvement over the previous volumes, and looks very smooth. The fight choreography was also fantastic, and the writing took a boost as well. The only aspect that I didn't really like was the introduction, but that's just because I feel like that was a small step back from what we've been getting. As for the story, it was awesome! Like I mentioned, the writing got a boost. The story here focuses on the culmination of the previous two volumes, and what a spectacle it is. The way the characters work off of each other and how the villains come together just works. And then there's the ending to the volume. It left me with on the edge of my seat and with huge anticipation for the next volume. There simply are not enough good things I can say about this volume.

The Best RWBY Volume
waddleslover15 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
RWBY Volume 3 is the most emotional, dark, action packed volume to date.

The main plot is basically the Vytal Festival that Volumes 1 and 2 had been building up too. However Cinder and her crew have other plans.

The villains in this volume are better than they've been in the previous two. Cinder remains terrifying, Emerald and Mercury are still awesome, Roman Torchwick is still good old cliché fun, Adam is pure evil, and Neo is Senpai.

The main characters also seem to be better this volume than in the past. Mainly Pyrrha Nikos. Since this is the volume in which Pyrrha dies, it makes sense that the volume would focus mainly on her, and that it does.

Overall, if you didn't like RWBY before volume 3, then you'll fall in love. 11/10

Best RWBY Volume as far
redlikeroses26 August 2017
RWBY Volume 3 was better than Volume 1 and 2, and of course better than Volume 4 (as I write this, Volume 5 hasn't been released yet) Characters are forced to take choices. They are making sacrifices. They are developing. In this volume we get to know better our villains, and they're awesome. Not only good villains, they're charismatic and well developed. Every character here has flaws. Every characters face problems, *even Ozpin*. Imagine it's an 8.5/10.

Things pick up

The RWBY story felt like it was building up for a while, and this season is what it was building up to. Everything really climaxes and progresses further, the stakes get higher and I am keen to see what happens next.

Just Amazing!!!
darthmoose-9227016 February 2018
RWBY is absolutely amazing and we should all be happy that Monty Oum left us with such an inspiring masterpiece and it is the perfect mixture of anime and western animations. I have been a fan of it for about a year now and it is now one of my favourite shows, it has amazing fight scenes, great and realistic dialogue, amazing music (thanks Jeff Williams), and shows tremendous character growth and development. I don't want to get into details due to the endangerment of spoilers but give it a chance, watch a few episodes then start to form your opinion, let it take you on the adventure and you will be thankful, trust me. Overall I give it a 9.7/10.

The RWBY Volume that changed everything!
tophherd-169881 August 2023
A great volume with one hell of an ending, The animation has improved over the first two volumes, as well as some impressive fight choreography. The writing really starts to get better from here.

While the first half starts off light-hearted, with good fights and some of the funniest and most quotable moments, The end of the first half is where everything changes. The second half gets darker from here on out. Great moments, Shocking scenes, plot twists, and an ending that will leave you speechless, in shock, and leaving you wanting more!

Here's to RWBY Volume 3, the volume that changed everything!

I"m going to be honest

Warning: Spoilers
Everyone who reviewed with positive rating are being dismissive and not actually paying attention . their is the constant retconning the fact every fight this volume are bad or make no sense or lacks consistency. What Qrow says when he's watching the a match at a bar was right its a mess most of the fights are. Almost every match ends in the whole team being take out by one person. I'm giving it a three because it tried. I've seen this done way better and with people who knows what they are doing .
