Warning: Spoilers
Couldn't watch the last episode due to tears, gutted that it's ended but wouldn't have been the same without Nate anyway, his character was brilliant

A Great Wrap-Up to the Series
cbrueggemeyer11 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I felt the need to write a few things about this episode because I read through what others had said and was disappointed. I felt that this episode was the perfect conclusion to this series.

While the storylines of some of the characters seem to meander at times, I felt the ending brought focus onto what this entire series is truly about: combat and conflict. Everything in Alvi's life will always come second to fighting, and I think the finale perfectly highlighted that.

While this series definitely isn't perfect, the last two episodes made me very glad I stuck with it. A group of people tortured by life's constant struggles come together to form a pseudo-family that revolves around one singular theme: fighting. The series ended right where it began. A good ending to a good series.

Honestly I knew Jonathan tucker was a star when I saw him in the black donnelys. Then I remembered his role in hostage. I truly admire this guys skill. He is probably one of the best actors in the world. I wish I could tell him that.

Late comer to this gem
adran120414 October 2021
I was late discovering this rough diamond. Always been a huge fan of Grillo, an underrated actor. This show blew me away. An emotional rollercoaster. Each character perfectly flawed enough to relate to. Each season surpassed the previous, and the end was pure gold. Recommended this to so many people and I'd even put it up there with Sopranos as one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Barely can watch final episode

Warning: Spoilers
Pain literally leaking from TV screen. Nate deserves better end. Obviously they didn't know how to deal with Nate fate, in fact they have trouble to develop his role as a gay man who are in MMA sport during whole show (I had this feeling through all seasons). Christina, Jay and Alvey characters are perfectly developed through the show. Big pitty, show is cancelled, but somehow they made the end of story...

From Beginning To End
jojessy22 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This series had some great characters like Jay, Keith, Alvey, and Nate. The first two seasons were great so I had high expectations for the third. The first 8 episodes were all over the place and it didn't seem the series could end in the last two. The last episode renewed my love for the show, it left me wanting to know what was next. I balled my eyes out from the end of episode 9 and into the end of episode 10. Although Alvey was such a terrible father and had the worst personality, he loved his sons and I think he tried to be better in his own way. I don't think he deserved to be blamed for Nate's death. You could see he did blame himself and the pain of loosing Nate throughout this whole episode. The last image seen was of a defeated man who would never have anything good in his life.

My unpopular opinion - very disappointing finale and season - 1/10

Warning: Spoilers
When I started watching Kingdom, I liked every character and I enjoyed the story. I hated the scene with the murder in S1 but at the moment it felt right. It was shocking, unexpected and it helped with how the story progressed. I enjoyed the first season very much because I actually cared for what was going on.

Season 2 disappointed me - I hated the two new girls because they couldn't stop f***ing - it felt like 12 times in an episode. I wasn't surprised that they killed one of them off because they didn't know what to do with her anymore, and the other one moved to another trainer or something. Seasons 2 and 3 made me hate all the male characters with the exception of Jay's ginger friend and Nate. I started hating Alvey, Jay and the rest. My favourite female character has always been Christina.

By the end of S3, I felt so disappointed by what happened to Nate and Christina, that I had no desire to watch the finale. I still did and I didn't care anymore - it was all about Alvey and how he won a title after he had lost his son whom he had called f***** just before his death. This was all brutal and unnecessary, let alone how unsatisfying the finale is to the other characters. This finale felt more like "Alvey's Kingdom" .

Christina and Nate were the best characters on the show and they deserved so much better. It seems like the writers just don't know what to do with women. Don't let me start on Nate. Were the writers thinking "What are the worst things that casn happen to a woman and a gay man? The woman can get raped. The gay man can die because what else can we do with him?" because that's how it looked like.

amazing show in the worst way ever!!!
demosx8225 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I started this show 2 weeks ago on Netflix!!! I hated Jay in the first episode and thought he would be a throw away character and by the end of season 1 he was my favorite!!! This tv series is amazing. Its sad it only went 3 seasons but i had to write this because my personal opinion is the way Nates story ended is down right terrible!!! The acting is phenomenal but the last episode of the series was not warranted for the character in my opinion. There's so many story lines and ideas and things you can continue doing with that character then having him killed off!!! I saw that Netflix just got this and my hope( even tho that probably wont happen) is Netflix renews it somehow and makes that last episode a dream because for as great a show as this is, the fate to the character and characters around him was not warranted!!!
