- A man graphically describes sexual acts to other men in a few scenes.
- There are several scenes where women's bare breasts can be seen.
- There are several sex scenes.
- There are two brutal rape scenes in the first season, no nudity is shown in those scenes but it's still disturbing to watch.
- In the second season, many scenes with explicit male full nudity. The bodies of men are shown in a very explicit/almost soft porn way. Season two is much more graphic than season 1.
- The second season has a scene where some members of a submarine crew strip down and jump off their boat to swim in the ocean. Some full frontal male nudity, but there is nothing sexual or explicit about the nudity in that scene.
- A nurse washes a dead woman whose bare torso can be briefly seen for a moment.
- A man in bed looks at a foto with a nude woman while moving his hand under the bedsheet, he's implied to masturbate.
Violence & Gore

- A man is shot by a fiering squad. When he is injured, but survives, another man shoots him in the head with a pistol.

- Season two has scenes showing men being tied to chairs and threatened by an interrogator, then it cuts away and when the scene cuts back they are stained with blood and strongly implied to have been tortured.

Sex & Nudity
- A man pushes a woman against a wall and makes sexual advances to her in a threatening manner, she initially plays along and reaches her hand into his pants only to squeeze his genitals and run away while he's bent over from pain. No nudity or explicit imagery in that scene.
Violence & Gore
- In season 2, a woman with severely bleeding gunshot wounds is laid on an operating table when a man orders the doctors not to waste resources operating on her and and coldly watches her die in agony from her injuries.
- In season 2 a man commits suicide by shooting himself in the head with a flare gun. A closeup of his head, with blood stained over his lower face, is briefly seen afterward.
- Season 2 features scenes of Jews being loaded into cattle carriages on a train, a few of them are seen being shot by a guard in the background of one such scene.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The submarine crew boards a ship that has been smuggling refugees in the cargo hold. Most of them are already dead and the last Jewish refugees alive ask a German crewman to shoot them in order to put them out of their misery. He hands them a gun, it's not shown on screen but gunshots can be heard as they shoot themselves.
- A submarine crewman finds a battered woman gagged and tied on a mattress and it's strongly implied that she's been held as a sex slave. The man first tries to free her but then changes his mind and decides to rape her (no nudity or explicit imagery is shown but the man is seen on top of her while she cries) and the woman is accidentally shot and killed during the act.
- In season two, a crewman deliberately leaves another crewman out on the submarine deck as it submerges. We see him scream and claw at the submarine hatch as it sinks under the sea, he is implied to have drowned after the scene ends.
- Season two features a young boy passing away from illness off-screen, followed by scenes of his family being distraught over this.
