A self-admitted paranoid conspiracy theorist radio host gathers a group of 'friends' who coincidentally just so happen to be aspiring actors between gigs. Together they investigate mysteries.

Only they don't. The mysteries here are standard fare for these types of shows. What this group does is seek to confirm their fears and delusions by trumping up any nonsense that supports their unfounded conclusions, while ignoring or ridiculing all evidence against. The presentation is so singularly one-sided that it is only inevitable they will conclude - surprise! - that they were right to be paranoid all along.

The head of this merry band of gullible dupes is a radio host. He should stick to radio, because his on-camera presence is disturbing. We're talking primary school play level acting performance. The wannabes he's surrounded himself with fare little better, reciting their scripted lines with a bizarre mixture of over-the-top inappropriate emotional outbursts and conflicting facial expressions. If someone told me this crew were aliens occupying human bodies for the first time I would believe them. It's that's discordant and jarring.

The History channel should stick to history because this show offers nothing. One star.
