[6.5] Level2- Devices and apparatus
cjonesas5 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 2: All that 44 minutes for basically nothing of interest, being acting, development, mumbo jumbo anti-matter sci-fi, no charisma, no thrill, near zero suspense and the list goes on. It just gets around mid of the 6 bar for some tiny interesting connections and those being the devices and apparatus.

Still ??????

So I gave it two on the first review, and it is going to have to be a 2 on this second episode. This is so boring, it is slow, it has no interest, it has nothing going for it. What is this programme all about? If you like dull, boring, slow drivel, then this might be for you, but anyone with an ounce of sense will see how rubbish this series is. However, I will give it another go, and watch episode 3 to see if there is any improvement.

Incredibly unrealistic plotline
admiralzaalkoris13 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Why is there only one soldier guarding an antimatter device?

Just to give everyone a perspective of the amount of damage this device could do - there's 10.3g of antimatter in the device - (so 20.6g would be annihilated in an explosion). You can find the total energy of the reaction using E=mc^2. The total energy would be about 1,800,000,000 MJ. This is approximately equal to a 450 kt explosion, or 20x the yield of the "Fat Man" bomb. It seems incredibly unrealistic that there would only be a single driver and not an entire convoy to transport such a device.

Also such a device could wipe out a small city and would irradiate a significant area (both of which would be very apparent that the destroyed truck was no longer carrying the device). If a terrorist group was suspected to have stolen a device of this magnitude, I find it likely that at least a battalion would be assigned to retrieve it / investigate it, if not a national emergency (maybe not wanting to alert the public that such a device could be in the hands of an unknown party).

I hope this plot line ends soon, I'm finding it very hard to suspend my disbelief.
