This was a "What Would Be If" scenario that marked 100 Episodes. It brought back familiar faces that have been missed. Unfortunately they came with so many mistakes to those of us who have seen and can recall the little details of the previous 99 "What Actually Did" episodes previously. This train-wreck is so Disappointing with the writers' entire lack of regards to the characters' backstories. The many errors made this episode painful to watch and impossible to believe as to what really would have taken place if Liv didn't say yes about Deliverance. So many questions, so many things forgotten, so many inaccuracies in the writing.
(And why does Mellie continue to be called Mrs. Grant after marrying Cyrus, not going by her new married name of Mrs.Bean? James and Bainbridge both call her Mrs.Grant...which completely threw off that whole waste of story line. Where were their kids? Jerry would have still been alive. They didn't even play on that.)
This episode could have really been something, a storybook ending for Liv and Fitz, but disappointingly, Shonda and the writers took the day off and we got a cheap dime store romance instead.
