Season's End on a More Loving Note
Hitchcoc23 April 2017
This little series goes so fast. The two stars are incredible with more chemistry than just about anything going these days. The last episode found Frankie having a mild stroke and at risk for another one. Grace swoops in to be the caretaker, and, in the process, pulls the rug out from under her friend. It's all about love and our human fragility. Grace is thinking more about herself than Frankie, knowing that her own loneliness is probably assured if Frankie dies or even if she goes off to New Mexico. There are some really touching scenes here, but the concluding one is outstanding. They have been renewed for a fourth season. In a subplot, Sol stirs up a demonstration to go after the business of the homophobic bakery guy who has been attacking them at their theater. There are some really funny lines at their organizational meeting.
