Príncipe was a potencial very good character, it's a shame they killed him too soon.

Good, evil, big cats & radical freedom

I agree with the reviewer above that Principe was an interesting character with potential which we never saw. Problem was he was also 'good', and rational and intelligent with it. Someone who in a rational situation would always do well, but in the world of Gomorroah, being good or rational isn't enough.

Sometimes it seems in Gomorroh that the good perish & the evil flourish, but that isn't entirely true either. It seems more like you have to have a certain kind of intelligence combined with a certain kind of ruthlessness & maybe ....just luck. Someone like Principe wasn't going to make it in that world I guess in the long run. Shame though. As his girlfriend says Prince can't recognize evil when it is before him. I guess we know what that makes Don Pietro then

The black panther was an interesting touch. Both subtle and not subtle, given the comparison literally made with Principe's girlfriend. The panther among set quasi - free -among other things, provides us with that glimmer hope that Principe seems to represent. This is a Gomorrah though, and that of course, would never do

A good & interesting episode, with a bit more optimism for most of the episode..... until it literally gets shot in the head at point blank range.

One last thing, it's almost ironic that 'the Prince' is named Prince, for of all the characters in this season he was probably the least Machiavellian. I'd say that was meant as an intentional irony.
