According to the BBC, the series isn't based on (or inspired by) the book The Coroner by M.R.Hall. Now that we've got that out of the way...I grew to like the Coroner as it progressed to series 2, and then the rug got pulled out by someone in TV authority so adios to series 3:( Not happy at all.
This is an intriguing episode where Tam is found murdered near a secret cave, which is only a secret to a handful of folk, including Mick, who is arrested for Tam's murder.
Oliver Gomm as Clint looks so much like David Spade's doppelganger big time. He doesn't get much screen time in this episode and maybe a spin-off can feature Clint.
The scenery as always is beautiful and I really wish another station can pick up The Coroner.
