When the gym teacher chases Ms Malkin and the kids through the Magic Land parking lot he's almost hit by a beige car pulling out of a spot. In the next shot the car is nowhere to be seen. In another angle the car is replaced by a red one.
A Tuatara is not a lizard, they are completely different order of animals the Rhynchocephalia.
Tuataras are not native to Florida (or even North America), so it's very unlikely Leo would meet any in the Everglades.
As Leo remembers back through the years it shows the the class watching the first moon landing on TV in Nov 1969 but the actual date was July 20th 1969. There would have been no classes in July.
