- The girls discuss boys in a number of episodes, often appearing either embarrassed or eager to be around them.
- A mild reference to the size of a woman's breasts.
- One scene of accidental nudity in series 3 when Clarice Twigg (Kitty Slack) is shown in her pajamas sitting down on a bed. Due to her height and how she sits, her pajama bottoms slide down somewhat, resulting in the entire top half of her bare butt being exposed.
- The schoolgirls appear in skirts throughout most episodes.

- Some frightening scenes throughout. Usually Mildred and her friends in danger from magical creatures and a reoccurring "baddy."

- Mild profanities throughout the series. Mostly words like IDIOT or BATBRAIN. Some discrimination terms against non-magical students. Frequent shouting, usually when a character does something wrong. Mild insults evolving around bullying and competitiveness.
- In season 3 when Mildred is suprised by another Witch crashing through her window, she shouts "What the....!" While she does not finish the sentence, it is clear from the look on her face and mouth that it is meant to be the F-word. She manages to avoid saying it.
