Sex & Nudity

  • A husband and wife are seen kissing through a window. The next shot is of them under The bed sheets talking, and it is implied they are naked. Nothing else is seen
  • A man showers nude, with buttocks seen. He then sits nude on an arm sofa, his genital is covered by his hand. Nothing below the waist is seen.
  • A young teen girl takes off her dress in front of an older male & is displayed in only her skimpy bra & very tiny tight panties while she lays across her bed in an act of failed seduction.
  • A woman gives a handjob to a man in a car; nothing actually explicit is shown, but you can see the motion of her hand and hear the man's moaning.
  • Full frontal female nudity is displayed of a naked female laying across her bed in an act of seduction prior to hugging the clothed male in her bed that rebuffs her sexual offering.
  • A female is featured in her bra & panties displaying her exposed body to a male who rubs his clothed crotch on her for sexually arousal.
  • A scantily clad female lays across a bed to seduce a clothed male via her sexual role play of general anesthetic prior to him becoming aroused & removing her panties revealing brief pubis nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • Some of the stronger scenes include, one in which a character who is seen biting into his own forearm, causing blood to ooze from his mouth before he spits out a piece of his own flesh; a scene where a man fires a gunshot into a character's chest, causing blood to seep through the latter's clothing; and a scene where a character covered in bruises and cuts is punched across the face, causing his mouth to be filled with blood.
  • Violence against children. Children (11 and 14) are threatened with violence and death and are also inflicted violence upon.
  • A character bleeds profusely from the eyes. It is expected, but it is also disturbing to see. It gets cleaned up shortly after.

Profanity

  • 2 utterances of the expletive "fuck".
  • Very little profanity is used 1 use of s-it 1 use of h-ll 1 use of a-s

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Three of the film's primary characters (two doctors and a teenager) smoke cigarettes. A character's past alcoholism is mentioned several times in conversation.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Violence is threatened against and inflicted upon children, making the film even more intense and disturbing.
  • Towards the end of the film, a character fires shots at others, causing fear and death .
  • The general tone of the movie is very surreal. The characters act very strange and deliver their lines very monotone which makes the film feel emotionally off.
  • The entire film feels very uncomfortable, the lines are purposely delivered in a strange way and the strange shots make everything feel off. It can be creepy.
  • In one scene, Steven attempts to force feed his son. This and the theme of characters refusing to eat may be triggering for some.
  • Overall a very weird and disturbing movie.

Violence & Gore

  • A character forces others to play a game similar to Russian Roulette, where he constrained them to chairs and then spins around in a circle firing shots from a rifle at random in their direction.
