This series is perhps the most well rounded in its genre. Graham Hetrick brings the audience along with him and not only shows the details of the crimes committed, but truly shows how complicated every moment of an investigation is for a coroner. Along the way you see the interactions between Hetrick and other law enforcement as they work together to bring all the pieces of evidence. Graham is never afraid to ask for help and shows his human side and limitations in this regard, which is something many shows like this fail to show. In addition, the stories are told in such a manner that is captivating, but also retains a sense of dignity for the deceased. It truly does allow the dead to speak their story to us as the investigation occurs. It is not only an amazing series, but one that has been long awaited in its genre. This is a must see for any forensics science students.

Superb

I worked in the medical field my entire adult life and therefore am hypercritical of mistakes on medical dramas or re-enactment type shows. I also never felt a coroner was as capable as a pathologist in performing autopsies - until Graham. He is so amazingly knowledgeable and thorough, something I felt was reserved to physicians. Not only do I think this is a superb show for anyone interested in this subject, but it has taught me a valuable lesson in that I now know that superb knowledge is not limited to those with medical degrees. The actor who plays him in the show could be a brother.
