it's addicted

I didn't have any expectation at the first time when this show came up. But boy, i do really like it and slowly grows on me. Living in a far away continent from LA, this show gave me the reality of what happened there, Salute to coach Snoop and the team.

What a great show

The show is entertaining and the message is fantastic. Snoop is a class act and great role model. I love what he's doing for these kids and what he continues to do. I love the realness of the show.

First Time I've Binged a Whole Season in a While!

Loved the series. My favorite thing about the show is that everyone keeps it real throughout the show. You can tell these are people's real lives and there are winners and losers like in reality. This show also helps raise awareness of how poverty and issues can be perpetuated through multiple scenarios, each unique and relatable to everyone (although they don't outright point this out). My favorite thing about this was the kids, they are awesome to watch grow with Snoop as a mentor.

Why would you treat kids like that?

Warning: Spoilers
I'm not even talking about cussing the kids out. "The next 6 months of your rent is paid. Ain't nobody gotta know about it. Just you and me." And everyone else on the planet because we're filming this. Little kid who's mother died is having problems. Let me talk to him alone... on camera. I perceive the flight attendant as moody. Let me shout at her and get the entire team kicked off the plane. "I don't care about anything as much as these kids." I show up to the game late and make an entrance.

This show is either fake AF or the coaching staff is. I couldn't make it much further than Episode one. Those kids are being exploited more than Chinese kids at a Nike factory.

Good show

Great show. It felt like there was an overwhelming amount of cameras on the field and it might have had an impact on the 'realness' of it but I loved the show nonetheless. Im glad snoop is doing this and I hope more artists/celebs follow suite. Thanks Snoop!

Is this Real?
Greg-Clift4 February 2018
It appears that some of the plays are shot or re-shot just for the camera angles to be dramatic. It may be that some of the plays are real but if you watch the very first episode, there must be cameras on tracks behind the action and they when we see the same play from a different angle, there should be cameras visible from the opposite angle. The over-all message of the series is good; preparing young men for the real world. Don't let the staging of shots/set-up deter you from watching.

Really felt this show!!
stacyn-0861213 December 2022
I grew up in the streets of South Carolina and also California and LA. Wish this would have been there for my friends and me then. I moved back to South Carolina to get me and my kids away from the gangs and violence there. It ain't help cause the gangs and violence is here too. Wish we had even a coach do this! The show is so worth the watch got me super emotional over here. Kids all across the country need this. Got my son watching it so he knows he has more options then just the streets and the drugs and stuff before it's too late for my kids let them see if they just listen to us the ones that got out they can make it too.

If you like the "N" word, this one is for you
gasshack-938-81874215 March 2023
I watched about 20 minutes.... Double standard, hypocrisy and ignorance. Can't we get a positive role model for young black kids who don't rap about violence, use the "N" word in every sentence, and smoke dope? This is shameful and pathetic..... African American kids deserve better than this. If playing football or basketball is their only ticket out of the inner city violence, drugs, and gangs.... It's more of a problem than people know. If African American support this mindset, the problems will only get worse and future generations will be lost. Snoop Dog needs to quit the drugs and stupid talk and read a book.... Sorry not sorry.
