Strange even by their standards!
I am glad that I got to see this thing the whole way through. This entire episode is mostly a parody of various Internet videos and it's so hilarious not knowing what will come next. You even see the Human Dog meme being represented by the evil turtle. Wait, why is that thing back? I guess that, as a compilation, it's meant to show stuff that was created over a certain time period. The gags just keep coming and coming and it still manages to be unique for an episode of the show.
I was stunned that they actually referenced a Creepypasta from the Internet! It was a real Gumball one about a missing episode called, "The Grieving". I really shouldn't describe this story or fictional episode. You should probably just look it up yourself. Anyway, this episode said it would show footage from that...but it was just a dog playing a saxophone. Yeah, they'd never get away with showing the actual stuff that was detailed there. The best part is probably the last sequence, which features all the characters singing about how different we are. It sounds cheesy, but with a show this wonderfully detailed, it's done in a truly heartwarming manner. ***1/2
