Love Hurts
ygwerin111 November 2022
A psycho appears to be targeting individuals, and forcing them to accept a gruesome offer they can't refuse, such as cut your face or this college student will die, a famous actor Johnny Cane received a video to this effect, and directly involved the LAPD.

Lucifer simply cannot get his head around human emotions, he is so used to be self centred, imagining that everything revolves around him, but suddenly he had an epiphany, and began to realise that was not necessarily always the case.

This drove him to approach Chloe in an altogether different, and far more introspective approach, and for the very first time he actually appeared, to her as human almost vulnerable. For the first time ever she seemed, to warm to this new Lucifer, and actually kissed him, but rather than react in a positive way, he was entirely nonplussed, and remained totally incapable of being able to handle it.

Maze made a totally unwelcome observation to Chloe, about her total inability to "lightning up" the end result was Chloe Decker trying in effect, to do a 'Lucifer' around him at seemingly every opportunity, expecting him to respond in kind, except that his reaction was to do a 'Decker'.

Lucifer's mum pays doctor Linda Martin a surprise visit, despite having lived as a human for a little while, she still seems totally unaware, of the simplest aspect of human interaction. She has another scam that she wishes to act on her son, but doesn't want to do it directly, instead she expected the doctor to be gullible enough to do it on her behalf.

Amenadiel had informed Lucifer's mum of the mission, that God had sent him on to bless the Decker's, so that they could have a child, and she expected Maze to deliver the message to Lucifer.

should've let a woman on the writing team

This episode was great!

BUT I had to physically pause and turn away from my screen MULTIPLE TIMES throughout this episode. The way chloe is mis-characterized and being so weird does NOT sit right with me... like is she having a mental breakdown? Is that why shes being weird? Like i personally think that whoever is writing chloes character throughout the entire show HAS TO be on drugs... or just be a man. Thats also a thing that HEAVILY bothers me, the sexualisation and mischaracterization(???) of chloe decker and the reason i even searched the imdb for this episode was to see if there was a single woman on that writing team. I was not surprised. This show doesnt know what they want chloe to be.. serious? Goofy and quirky? Sexy????? Like LET A WOMAN ON THE WRITING TEAM JESUS. Also i know this episode was written 7yrs ago but my point still stands.

Rest of the episode is good, and the only reason im not giving it a 1star lol.
