Season after season this is getting better. Season 1 was boring. Now we are getting into character development. It would have been perfect had the director would have shown Jerome escaping GCPD in a difficult situation.
We also get to see the dark side of James Gordon.

This is where we see Alfred's influence on Bruce begin as overt development into the hero we know today. I strongly recommend watching the Pennyworth series before Gotham.
As annoying as Jerome is (as being a not Joker) character, this episode was all about developing Bruce as a fighter, a thinker, courage under fire to save his friends, or at least buy them time. We see a glimmer of the Batman that will become. Even the themes from the music score begin to hint at the story lines prequel status.
On the other side of town, Penguin and The Riddler show true human conflict, with oh-so-hot Barbara being more a villain than both of them.

What the hell . I ve been waiting for batman the whole series. Now what !! I just wasted my time. Bruce wayne is still that disgusting rich teenager that i hate.
He makes me sick. It was better there wouldn't be any Bruce Wayne if they wanted to use that stupid spoiled teenager as batman!!
I think the authors of this series is homophobia because there could be hot and charming couples like Barbara and Tabitha plus ed and penguin.
And about Sophia the character is really mysterious and dark like the other characters . This is not what I've expected.
The only good thing happened in this episode was joker that appeared after a long time.
