  Mad Hatter : Jervis Tetch. I have a job that might suit your particular skills. My sister's been taken by the GCPD. I need to get her back.

  Deever Tweed : You want to break someone out of the GCPD?

  Mad Hatter : Not 'someone.' My sister. I assumed men like yourselves understood the bond of family.

• [Alice sees the Mad Hatter taking blood from her through a syringe] 

  Alice Tetch : What are you going to use that for?

  Mad Hatter : Oh, I imagine I'll... mix it into some public drinking fountain. Create a few dozen monsters.

• Mad Hatter : If you let me leave with my dear sister, my dear Alice... then I'll free you from that nasty little impulse. Maybe you can live a long, happy... well, a long life.
