Originally entitled "Whitey", this is a story of a boy and his mouse

The original film, a story of a boy "Bobby" and his mouse "Whitey", was created as a student film for an MA in Theater Arts from UCLA. Filmed at the Mojave Test Area (MTA) of the Reaction Research Society in the California desert. Most of the people appearing in the film were RRS members; exceptions being actors for the boy Bobbie (David Serkin) and the girl (Judee Morton).

The rating really depends on your point of view; this is not a modern film with special effects. However the rocketry depicted is real: the RRS is a long-established amateur Rocketry club still active today in the Los Angeles area, with the same test site.
