Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • There's no actual violence in this episode besides a woman briefly having a bloody nose as a result of some G-force. A couple dead bodies are seen, but aren't very graphic. There is, however, an imminent apocalyptic threat that many characters desperately try to stop throughout the episode.

Profanity

  • A few mild curse words, and one use of f**K.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • At the end a few of the characters toast a fallen comrade with a shot of gin.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This episode is very emotional, especially towards the end and the with final few minutes.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • On Eros, Miller eventually finds Julie Mao, who has created another body for herself from the alien protomolecule. She is naked and glowing blue: her appearance is heavily altered with CGI. Though she's shown fully from the front, no intimate features are present. The two kiss as they travel on a collision course with Venus.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Characters are hit by debris. A nucelar weapon becomes unstable.
  • A main character chooses to sacrifice himself in order to save Earth from imminent destruction. This scene is especially sad as it had been assumed that he would survive, and it shows many other characters reacting mournfully in the final montage of the show.
  • When Miller meets Julie, he removes his suit, exposing himself to the virus and sealing his own death, in order to comfort Julie and prevent Earth's destruction. This scene is very sad as it's very clear they're about to die and there's no hope for escape any more.
