Peng is in Japanese territory with the strange purpose of just burning things down (it doesn't make much sense if his plan all along was to kill everyone in Asia to go on a looting detour). In USA, Kara tries to find an old friend so he can help her.
It is great to see Tex again in a glorified cameo, and see him teaming up with Kara and Jacob. This part of the episode gives some more time to the tensions and difficulties of 'peacebuilding' and keeping stability after a crisis (of course, with bullets).
But the important part of the episode is the showdown in Japan, where Peng becomes little more than a robber. Takehaya gets another chance to shine as the Nathan James crew joins forces with the remnant of the Japanese population to fight against the 'invader'. It is lazy writing all around, especially trying to make the viewer believe that the first thing that Peng would do after his plans of genocide have been thwarted would be to leave his territory and go for a trip. It does for acceptable action, though (nothing great, thank you).
