Life goes on . . .

Warning: Spoilers
There's enough weight and plot thread resolution in this episode that it feels like a season finale. And the real twist here is that, after all of the external threats to the Jennings' cover as spies, the real danger lies within as cracks start to form in their marriage. A fight between husband and wife is one of the episode's most uncomfortable scenes; but so is seeing Martha packing up and boarding a plane in near silence, as well as seeing the epilogue to this arc in a skillfully done time jump. Gaad is out as FBI supervisor and Paige has been put to work as a spy on Pastor Tim and his wife. That scene in and of itself is unsettling, but it's the new status quo in the Jennings house.

It does feel like a finale, which leaves the last third of the season a genuine question mark.

Great episode with memorable scenes

Phillip and Elizabeth both show signs of mental strain.

This is a very strong episode that brilliantly shows the mental state of the lead characters. I can't say that I found it enjoyable, but appreciate that it is high quality filmmaking.

The plot covers a lot of ground, shifting characters and events forward considerably, which is appropriate considering the pressure and focus of the past few episodes. It has some interesting themes, particularly around the choices individuals make in life.

There are quite a few memorable scenes that are very well filmed and edited. The opening sequence is quite haunting and one musical montage towards the end is excellent.

All performances are superb, with Keri Russell, Holly Taylor, Matthew Rhys and Frank Langella doing great work.

For me it's a 9.5/10, but I round upwards.

Too much Paige

In this episode and a few others ,we keep seeing too much whining weepy Paige. She's featured a lot to the point of being very annoying. Otherwise another great episode.
