It is hard to watch. Marcella seems lonely at all. Her children are cold and far. Her husband just selfish. After Grace gone he neither love her nor free her. Her colleagues just start to understand her. She has good instincts but just bad anger manegement. Alsa blackouts turns her down. Learn about Marcella' s past away child. This part is surronded by murder, blackmail, threatening and drama.

Sympathy for Marcella.

Warning: Spoilers
The killer takes things a step further, this time by targeting a child, but ia it the same kier that murdered Grace?

We learn more about Marcella, she started off as an unpleasant, violent monster, with serious anger issues, now we are able to put the pieces together, and learn why she is the way she is, why her kids are away from home, and why she struggles with people being close to her.

Yann has become a way more interesting character, be spent most of this series being the grumpy, sullen boyfriend, now he's come to life, he's very good.

Now it's personal for Marcella, events are coming together nicely.

Very good, 8/10.

Nearly Crossing the Line

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is about the consummate evil: the kidnapping and murder of a small child. Marcella continues to pursue the original serial killer who is still out there, even though Cullen has confessed to recent murders. We have threats to families and women. We have the death of an immigrant taxi driver whose crime was telling the police about seeing someone near Grace's house the night of the murder. His friend blames the "snakes," his name for the authorities, and believes that Marcella is responsible. Jason is going around making deals and become more and more possessed of something. He is becoming a more and more dark character (no pun intended). We have to know that there is some kind of leak because there is so much that is quickly known by this awful person. Well done episode with a startling conclusion (once again, the narrative hooks are pretty pat in this series and they've got me moving into the next one).

Still moving slowly but secrets are coming out. The pace really shoulder much quicker especially for a London cop show which are generally more slick in presentation. The threats, blackmail and business dealings make it interesting but the drama could be more gritty.
