Anger management.

Grace has gone, and the person with the biggest motive is Marcella herself, she had the motive, means and opportunity.

The different strands of plot have all crashed together, Marcella's estranged husband is slap back at the centre of Grace's world, personally and professionally, was it to much for Marcella, has she cracked?

It is very well produced, it's very slick and gritty, the acting is first rate, I only wish that they had made the characters a little softer around the edges, it's hard to say that any of them are decent, Marcella is the hardest of all to like.

It is intriguing, 7/10.

Something to de-Clare?

The plot thickens but no signs of it unravelling yet as ghosts from the past get mixed up with the present. Still a slow burner. Perhaps it could have been done in fewer episodes but we'll worth watching.

Marcella 1.2

In the opening scene Marcella is parked outside a set of apartments. She seems anxious. She decides to go up and ring one of the doorbells; there is no answer.

00:50 She returns to her car and notices that she is parked in the view of a security camera. Her anxiety builds as she enters her car.

Marcella visits a "shrink".

Rage Directed

I suppose there isn't a worse feeling that you have been somewhere or done something, but you can't remember. Marcella has some sort of mental disorder that causes her to react with violence (her reason for being off the police force), but keeps her from being aware of what she has done. She is filled with fury when her husband begins to have an affair and requests a divorce. She also becomes possessed with the cold case of a serial killer. She definitely goes to the home of her husband's lover and the woman disappears. We also have a subplot of a nubile young blonde who does internet sex for men who "talk" to her and watch. This leads to some prostitution where she steals from her clients and hocks their valuables. She is naive and clueless. The conclusion to this episode has quite a discovery and leads us into nasty territory.
