Sex & Nudity

  • A brief reference to "erectile dysfunction"
  • In response to Dash's hurtful article, the principal marks his permanent record and asks him to think about his actions "by trash-talking your friend's penis"
  • A reference to "grab our pole", during the roof climbing scene.
  • The term "gator masturbator" is referenced, along with its raunchy meaning.
  • In the cult scene, the leader, Brent Daniels, asks one of the characters to take a "chill-axative". The cult members laugh at the jest, even referencing it once or twice.

Violence & Gore

  • In one dream scene, a bunch of skeletons fly out of lockers screaming. No blood or gore.
  • A man has a trophy dropped on his forehead, spurting blood.
  • The school breaks off the cliff and into the ocean. One student gets hit by a desk, while another is wedged to the ground by a bookshelf.
  • Blood supply packs fall out of a nearby cabinet and seep into the water, attracting several sharks. They can briefly be seen biting at a student's leg; not as graphic as you may think, given the limited animation.
  • A girl gets killed, when her limbs eaten off by sharks; blood forms in the water.
  • A food fight breaks out, resulting in one student projectile vomiting.
  • A comical fight in the bathroom (involving the lunch lady).
  • A duo is electrocuted, while climbing a makeshift elevator. They're okay, but comically burned - some of the students remark them looking like "burned demons and meat".

Profanity

  • Infrequent amounts of shit, damn, ass, hell and one bitch. No F-words.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Prescription pills are dumped into the water.
  • In the ladies restroom, a student's backpack is found to be filled with pills.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film has a very avant-garde feel to it, not to mention stroboscopic.
  • The school collapse sequence can be considered somewhat frightening for young viewers.
  • Dash nearly drowns, but is rescued by Lunch Lady Lorraine.
