Warning: Spoilers
Mercy Street kicked off its second season with a strong offering that featured the 19th Century medical surgeries, edgy political stories and a hint of romance that we watch this show for. While it may not have the violence of a Game of Thrones, or the unbridled passion of an Outlander, Mercy Street is a well-written show that is enjoyable for fans of all ages.

Pinkerton gets obnoxious.

Warning: Spoilers
Pinkerton. His lines were hilarious. My name is Pinkerton (or did he say he was from The Pinkertons?). He said this at least three times. He gets a big score for being obnoxious. What a dunderhead.

That d______ dentist tried to off Bullen. Is Bullen still living? At any rate, Bullen was trying to get God to accept his request for forgiveness. Unnatural acts with pigs, dogs, droids, earthworms, elephants, whatever. Indeed! Not to mention his slimy connections with human beings.

If Bullen gets forgiven, I'm the king of England.

That dentist is definitely crazy. He seems like he is a near cousin of JW Booth, also a nutcase.

Mr. Green didn't appreciate being home. His wife lovingly bathes him, like an idiot, and then he comes out dressed in a suit of handsome clothes. All of a sudden, he violently berates his son for signing that loathsome piece of paper. What a knucklehead. The son just loved his father. My word!

The ex-slave who has medical training is always a joy to watch. He is very intelligent.

Foster and Mary. Do they have a future in the lovey-dovey department?
