Booth clearly has a problem with most people

Booth disrespected the Inspector as if only "Americans" could solve the case. He disregarded his potential insight and did not want a Frenchman on the case.

When Aubrey questioned the Inspector about him deceiving people and doing whatever it takes, that's exactly what Booth did. In particular during Season 9 when he was investigating the leak in the FBI.

Booth Once Again Like a Child

Once again the two people we are supposed to care about turn out to be ridiculous egomaniacs. First we have Brennan having no clue about anything relating to modern culture. We are told in other episodes she is a movie fan and yet she doesn't know who Peter Sellers is or a reference to the Pink Panther. Then, once again, we have Booth who shows his xenophobia ("You're pretty smart for a Frenchman!"). What a dumb thing to say. Most of the time he doesn't solve anything. He takes what a bunch of really smart people have done (grunt work) and uses it to "solve" the case. And then the thing with wearing the glasses. Of course, the writers are equally stupid. You can't have cro-magnon with glasses, can you. The case may be interesting, but the feature characters make one forget about it.
