- TriviaAt approximately 8:01 when they are panning out to the "zombie convention" the aerial footage is of downtown Atlanta Georgia , Centennial Olympic Park, the old Georgia dome, the CNN center , the Omni hotel and the Georgia World Congress Center.. this is the location that hosts MomoCon every year memorial day weekend.
- GoofsKent speculates that Maura's cognitive symptoms are caused by a Chiari Malformation. While part of the dialogue is accurate (that Chiari malformations are genetic and that they can manifest symptoms in adulthood), Chiari malformations do not cause the kind of symptoms Maura is experiencing (cognitive lapses, word-finding issues (also known as anomia)). Earlier in the season, Maura mentions that her temporal lobe may have been damaged, which would account for her symptoms, but the Chiari malformation is located in or near the cerebellum, an entirely different brain structure in a different location. Cerebellar dysfunction can cause balance problems, swallow dysfunction, and other symptoms, but not likely anomia or cognitive lapses.
- Quotes
Maura Isles: [Looking at the victim] He is very talented! I mean, this laceration on his cheek is a work of art. He even discolored the subcutaneous tissue to account for maggot infestation
Jane Rizzoli: Yay?
Maura Isles: Well, we have to admire how real it looks. I mean, this takes dedication
Jane Rizzoli: There's a world record for the number of snail on a person's face. That takes dedication too, but it doesn't mean I have to admire it
Maura Isles: How many snails was it?
Jane Rizzoli: That's not the point, Maura! 43

The zombies start this song near the end of the episode on the jukebox, which Jane quickly unplugs
Attention magnet Angela starts a GED course because she never graduated from High School, so that takes up about ten minutes of debates and discussions about how hard it is to study when your life is dedicated to gossiping and instigating.
Maura's assistant is giving her medical advice regarding her brain injury. You would think that Maura would be smart enough to go see a neurologist, but over the past six episodes she has been diagnosing herself and getting second opinions from her assistant, who was formerly a battlefield medic in Afghanistan. Just incredible that there is never a scene where Maura is seen getting medical advice from a neurologist.
Finally they get around to confronting a perp, and like usual on this show, the three stooges (Jane, Frankie, and Vince, the fat old guy from Animal House) are all on one side of the perp, and the guy threatens to jump off the building. This gives Jane the opportunity to talk him off the ledge, showing what an amazing cop she really is.
Next up, zombie-con costumed customers show up at the Dirty Robber bar owned by Vince. Jane is drinking there with Maura, so when the zombies start dancing, Jane disconnects the juke-box and yells at them to stop being happy, because it annoys Jane.
This last season the writers have really been emphasizing what a major jerk hole Jane is. I have no idea why nobody ever tells her to flack off, but it is annoying to watch Jane insulting people in almost every scene she is in.
