This is the story of a nerdy "nice guy"(TM) whose ex girlfriend dumped him for not being into other things that weren't nerdy, leaving her dissatended. He soon finds a "manic pixie girl", as perfect as any nice guy could dream. But soon our lead's ex discovers something strange, and when the rest of the cast begin to behave as normal people, our nice guy, thanks to his knowledge of SF films, try to warn people about a Bodysnatchers Invasion (this time, a hideous flower). Manic Pixie Girl gets infected, so Nice Guy and Smart Ex notice that some people remain unnafected: older people, terminal people... The pair get close together again, as Nice Guy comea to terms that has been an asshole with Smart Ex. But she is soon infected too, and our "hero" discovers that he is innmune because he is dying. He joins the resistance, but first, puts a bullet in Smart Plant-Ex (who in fact retains human feelings like her love for him), leaving unanswered the question: Do Dream Plants With Electric Daisies?
