  Bucky Durst : You being a woman and all. You're like a desert flower, you are.

  Bucky Durst : A little thing of beauty in a dry... cracked landscape.

  Elena Michaels : [toying with her knife, grinning]  Bucky, is it? Maybe you should save the poetry. Go stand by the front door, keep your eyes pointed at what might be coming, huh?

  Bucky Durst : [sighs, takes out his own knife]  I'll do that.

  [drives the blade into the table-top] 

  Bucky Durst : You take care, Miss. This world we live in is hardest on the pretty little things.

  [speared a bit of sliced carrot, munches on it, saunters off] 

• Clayton Danvers : Don't do this. Don't question your whole life because of this guy. It's probably what he wants.

  Elena Michaels : [sighs]  But what is my life? All these... things... my memories, just... bits and pieces.

  Clayton Danvers : It doesn't mean what he says is true. You're still who you are, you're still here with me.

  Elena Michaels : [sighs]  But it's... it's my history. I need to know it. I... I want to understand it.

  Clayton Danvers : A long-lost father. A whole family you knew nothing about. Do you want it to be true? I understand what you're feeling. I can see it, even if you won't admit it to yourself.
