Very good episode. There was a lot of tension a few times throughout the episode. The emergency calls they went on were interesting. I was upset with how they reacted when they found out that the couple wanted them to find their cat and they said that they won't risk their lives for a cat. I don't know if that is just a thing in Chicago or not. Where I used to live, they actually gave out stickers for you to put on your windows that showed if you had any pets so that they would then help rescue them. I would be extremely upset if the fire department did not help rescue my "babies". I have cats and ferrets and have had dogs and a rabbit in the past. All of them are a part of my family, not just animals. Casey did end up rescuing the couple's cat, so I was quite relieved about that.

They brought in a new guy to replace Chili and I am glad that she is gone. However, I was not really liking the replacement guy any better than when they brought Chili on. His name is Ogle and the actor playing that part is the one that plays the idiot on the Sonic commercials. For this role he plays an always cranky and angry guy. Not really fond of either of the characters I have seen him play so far. Not sure if he is just given really bad roles or if he is just not a very good actor. They also decided to take the candidate Jimmy out of the firehouse and said that a higher ranking fire fighter was wanting to be in 51 and that Jimmy would have to float around fire houses for now. This got resolved quite nicely though. Boden made some calls and was able to get Jimmy placed on ambulance duty. This is a win win. Ogle will not be staying (yay) and Jimmy will still be part of firehouse 51. The person that took Jimmy's former position at the firehouse happens to be someone that Dawson knows (another female fire fighter). So far I like her. I am looking forward to how this now progresses.

Casey met with a couple of different groups of people to talk about his views and his plans if he wins the election for alderman. I am liking the way that is all playing out so far. I hope that they keep him on the moral high ground and that if he does win, they never have him slipping and ending up doing any dirty political moves.

This episode was much better than the previous one. I hope that they continue on with this level of writing.
