Lots of useful information but clunky in places

I really wanted to enjoy this documentary as it was highly recommended. Unfortunately, the format didn't work for me. There was lots of stimulating and interesting discoveries but the talking heads and melodramatic music with the underlying (black people are good and white people are bad) subtext got annoying after a while. As an African woman who was born and raised in Edinburgh, but now live in London, I'm enthusiastic about acquiring more and more knowledge about ANYTHING black, especially POSITIVE information.

Documentaries by black scholars are my favourite thing and I've watched many. I love African history so this should have worked for me. Actually it was one of the worst I've ever seen. Not the CONTENT itself, I'm referring to the way it was structured and how the segments were edited together. This was problematic. It made it hard for me to follow. It was way too long and would have benefited from a narrator and tighter editing. I often found myself saying 'eh?' The way the segments jumped around from past to present without any coherent link or sometimes context, was confusing.

I frequently watch Tariq Nasheed on YouTube and unlike my sisters, I like him a lot. He's well informed, articulate and passionate about exposing White Supremacy which is still an evil force in contemporary society. Racism and white supremacy will probably ALWAYS be a thing. Sadly for me, Hidden Colours 4 just didn't flow together very well. Tariq, if you're reading this, I want my money back!! (Joke)

Warning: Spoilers
Just finished watching "Hidden Colors 4 The Religion Of White Supremacy" this documentary was by far the best one in my opinion. I loved all the facts and I love how the force of Christianity in slavery was included in this documentary and how our beliefs were stolen. Another thing I appreciated about this movie that showed black people need to honestly put their finances in other black businesses. Also, the facts that was dropped about slavery and the use of the word "motherfucker" I had no idea about...looks like the n word and the mf word needs to get removed from my vocab. I love this movie and the knowledge I got from it I recommend you watch this movie.

Pure History Revisionism
djsgduy21 June 2020
This so called 'documentary', is pure history revisionism based on a conspiracy theory, that the history we have been taught and are taught today, not only has some errors, but is in many parts completely false. I would not call this a 'documentary'. It simply tries to brainwash the audience and wants to make you distrust our history books and what are being taught at our schools and universities.

A great documentary... to share with someone you love and want to build with

I appreciate how much information is in this documentary. I had to pause several times to look-up more resources on certain events mentioned by the speakers. I watched it by myself the first time, and I was just captivated throughout... while also feeling a deep nod of understanding: I certainly did not know of many of the historical events mentioned, but as an adult American I'm aware of how the thoughts and practices of white supremacy shapes our society, including what gets taught and talked about. I felt sad throughout and disappointed -- for all of us and mostly in myself for... just going-with-the-flow or going through the motions of how things have been setup and run in this country. I also felt a lot of anxiety at the thought of re-watching this with certain White American family members -- not the ones who are conscious believers and practitioners of white supremacy... for them I love from afar, keep strict boundaries with and protection from, pray for, and thank all of humanity's Gods that we all someday will die and make room for something else. But for those loved ones who we've come to call "White," who really, really try to be "good" but find themselves saying things and doing things that reveal a lack of valuing of human lives -- lives they see as "other." So when someone brings up the awfulness of American slavery and its ongoing impact; the good White person may itch to say, "Well, Africans had slaves; lots of people had slaves." Imagine someone bringing up the awfulness of childhood sexual abuse and the ongoing impact it has on survivors and their families and someone responds to say, "Well, lots of people sexually abuse children." Sigh! Well, the documentary shares a lot about what white supremacy has taken and continues to take from various communities, but for those who don't intentionally renounce or reject this "religion," they give up precious things as well. I feel hope that this resource will help me to build relationally with people in my family.

Exceptional Work

This is a remarkable factual over view of history that has been hidden, downplayed, manipulated, and plan out lied about. Very informative from a charismatic prospective giving rise to a social awareness based on holistic history and not the cherry picked version. Very empowering. Many famous contributors are seen in the documentary with great insight. Best documentary I've seen. Many parts of unknown parts of the world are visited as well as civilizations unknown to man. What ever you were taught throughout you grade schooling regarding history this is 10 fold the information you are aware of. Story comes from a place of love and awareness and not hate. It's designed to raise awareness to empowered individuals to be all the can be by understanding your plight through out history.

Warning: Spoilers
Hidden Colors 4 is an excellent and thought provoking documentary. The film presents Euro-western world domination as a religion that drives the global psyche of the world's white minority. It also brings to bear the horrific things that people classified as white have done to those classified as non-white, all in the name of this "religion" of white world domination. This movie definitely requires you to keep an open mind because it presents ideas and facts that may be contrary to everything that you have been taught about western history.

The documentary talks about the race issue, particularly in America, but it presents facts that can be easily researched and verified. Watching with an objective mindset will allow the viewer to see that even though difference in skin color is the overarching theme of many issues in the west, it is really an issue of universal right (vs) wrong.
