Doesn't add anything much to the franchise except the introduction to Elizabeth Shaw and what to expect from Prometheus. Recommend to Alien fans.

Could have been shut out and nobody would have complained

Warning: Spoilers
"Quiet Eye, Elizabeth Shaw" is a very short film at approximately 150 seconds, but I don't think this is the core reason why this 2012 movie is a contender for least seen and least appreciated from "The Peter Weyland Files", a collection of brief movies closely connected to Ridley Scott's Prometheus. I do think the problem here is that it a one-(wo)man performance adding very little and also being too specific for its own good. Rapace does all she can and what's going on at the left side of the monitor makes it worth seeing twice, but really the material offers hardly anything of value or any insight at all I must say. It's really only worth checking out for the very biggest Scott/Alien/Prometheus fans. Camera is static here which also does not make it a great watch for the directing, even if admittedly in terms of contents and subject, going static might have been the only choice. All in all, I feel there is nothing memorable to see here and it is a work that without its connection to the blockbuster would not have been seen by anybody really. Feel free to miss out this time.
