The Elwood Grill (as identified by exterior shots) where several pairs of characters eat throughout the night, is actually located in Detroit, MI. It was built in 1936, and was relocated in 1997 for the construction of Comerica Park. It is now located adjacent to the stadium, behind left field. The footage used in this episode is stock footage: while the exterior remained essentially the same (though restored) after the move, the surroundings are now very different. There is a fenced in outdoor seating area, and views from the same angle as in the footage now include a large parking structure right next door.
Luke is absent in this one. It's explained he is on a ski trip.
The exterior shot of the bar that Haley and Andy go to in LA is of Slim's, a famous nightclub in San Francisco (which closed in 2020).
Haley mentions that Andy is like a LEGO. Adam DeVine would later voice a LEGO in The Lego Batman Movie (2017).
Andy bets $1,550 at the casino (10 green chips @ $25 and 13 black chips @ $100), meaning he wins $54,250 on this bet.
