Wow

The visuals and the music in this episode are insane, especially in one scene toward the end. The story is decent and Hondo is pretty fun. I don't know why there are many negative reviews, its better than the average Rebels episode.

This is a fun episode. Lots of mystical magic and stuff. They don't try too hard to explain.

A good episode, plenty of wholesome parts, the old lady seemed to be a crackpot but turned out she was right. Hondo's alligance was even more impossible to guess than usual. I'd call this a one off special, possibly "feel-good" episode.

This is a bit of a mixed bag.

The story is essentially a filler featuring a diversion from the ongoing story of rebellion. It features the crew discovering two Lasat refugees.

Considering Zeb had used the term he was the last of his kind before his reaction when finding two of his kind really doesn't gel and is a bit unconvincing. I am also not a fan of the Lasat duo with their chanting and prophecies.

There are some great effects when the crew try to take the Lasat to a new home and overall this is a pleasant and different type of episode, delving into mythical style fantasy.

Not too bad.

My rating: 6.5/10.

epic Star Wars moments

This episode is easily one of the best in the series so far. Even without big name characters from past films/series it's gripping and intense. The climactic scene where they fly into the space anomaly literally gave me chills. Not something easily achieved by a cartoon. Brilliant.

Legends of the Lasat

So, I love the character of Zeb, but I didn't know how little I cared about his race and origins until I watched this episode. I didn't feel any real connection to these refugees, and by the end of the episode, I still couldn't tell anyone what their purpose was. I didn't feel like Zeb had any real development through the episode, except in connection to things that happened throughout this episode alone. I am still not that big on this version of Hondo, as I think he is more of a bumbling idiot than a pirate captain, which he also is, but it isn't as charming as they think it is. I did love the visual appeal of this episode, and I think they achieved some things that aren't easily achieved in animation. That is what really held this episode up for me, and why I ultimately ended up enjoying it. I don't think I need to know anything more about his race, mostly because I simply don't really care. I like Zeb, I like the crew, and I like a lot of the visuals in this episode, but for the most part, I would definitely rank this as among the weaker in the series, mostly because of its lacking storyline and it failing to progress the story in a more interesting manner.

Whoa

I actually kind of loved this one. I don't understand any of the negative reviews here.

I genuinely felt bad for Zeb and his past he is just opening up about. I wasn't sure where this episode was gonna end up going, but the last half bumped it up from averageish to wonderful. I think the writers did an excellent job expanding on some of the lord of Star Wars (possibly even the Force) and they didn't have to explain it or bore the viewer with details. I love Zeb a lot more than I did going in. He deserves this episode.

I also want to say the music is beautiful, particularly in the last act.

I'm not sure how I feel about this iteration of Hondo. Great, great episode otherwise.

Warning: Spoilers
The negative reviews didn't get the point of this episode. This episode could be compared as to what happened to the Jews during/after WW2. Finding their new home, genocide, and like we all know, The Empire are just space N@z¡$.

This episode was fun to watch. the way they reach the planet was so new and different. Normally Star Wars uses Hyperdrive but this was maybe a worm hole? and it was great to see a bit of a bond between Ezra and Zeb.

Zebs gets an episode ,oh dear
dregj8 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
It begins promisingly as a zeb ep focusing on his past ,his peoples' genocide at the hands of the empire and his interactions with two pacifist lasat crackpots looking for a mythical world from lasat legend.Despite zeb believing them to insane the ghost crew go off looking for it anyway (or they'd be no adventure this episode.) so a swarm of black holes in front of them and agent callus behind them Zeb and his friends must find a way through or die. It quickly goes bad from there. The magical glow stick of destiny that was somehow never ever used before despite many instances were it could have saved the day. The incredibly insulting NON ending where we don't see what happens on the planet they struggled to get to all episode and we just get told about the others? Really ,insultingly ,disappointing

Oh Captain, My Captain Zeb

This is my first time through Rebels, and this episode really sneaked up on me. By the time we reach the climactic scene that many have mentioned, I was completely engrossed and found myself teary eyed. It was the perfect blend of character, story, visuals, and score. I want to find that track. I want that backdrop painting.

Diving into Zeb's history for the first time this episode gives him much-needed depth and reminded me of learning about Worf's Klingon culture in TNG.

I'm looking forward to finishing Rebels before Ahsoka airs. It's been an amazing ride so far, and I've heard the best is yet to come.

Warning: Spoilers
Plot; Zeb is stunned to discover that he is not the last of his kind when he and the crew of the Ghost are tasked with escorting two Lasat refugees to their prophesized new home planet.

We're long overdue for a Zeb-focused episode, but sadly this isn't worthy of him. I've always loved that Zeb is the last of his kind left in the universe. It gave him a really nice pathos that remains as reserved and understated as he is. That said, finding fellow Lesat had some interesting potential that's unfortunately wasted here thanks to cut rate storytelling and a "climax" that doesn't even let us see the culmination of our journey. Ugh.
