- The episode begins with a pre-title space battle that leaves the Rebels decimated at the hands of Fenn Rau and the Protectors. The battle sequence ends with Hera's A-Wing coming out of hyperspace completely shattered and Hera half-dead.
- There is a tense Western-style showdown between Sabine and Rau, which ends with Sabine shooting the guns from Rau's hand. This degenerates into a wild gunfight.
- Sabine had rigged most of the Protectors' fighters to explode.
- The fight sequence ends with a tense setpiece where Kanan has clung onto Rau's fighter, finally disabling it with his lightsaber while punching Rau out, all while the two are as much as a mile above the planet's surface.
