I really enjoyed this movie! At first I was a bit iffy because the start of it is rather, let's say, interesting. Because it's a Hong Kong movie for crying out loud!!! And Hong Kong cinema humor is "out there". And on Wikipedia they call it a Chinese film (But the director makes movies in Hong Kong).
Anyway, as the movie progressed the plot did as well. At first you're thinking this movie is just a movie about how a woman is suddenly held hostage in her own home, and made to play wife to the guy holding her hostage. But here's the kicker. He's known her since grade school. And he always had a crush on her. So, when you watch the movie a second time, it all makes since and you notice the little things you missed the first time watching.
It's a really sweet and funny movie. And the characters are enjoyable as well.
You'll be glad you watched it. I know I did.
