Sheldon's grandma comes to visit. She is as sweet as can be until she meets Amy. Sheldon can do no wrong but is utterly inconsiderate. The two women go at each other. That aside it just lacked much punch. Amy held up pretty well, all things considered.

Meemaw rings true.

Having watched 'Young Sheldon', I feel that Meemaw is portrayed true to form. She reminds me a lot of my paternal grandmother, full of honesty and sometimes that honesty has barbs.

Sheldon, as usual, is uncomfortable with the way Amy and Meemaw confront each other. I like how Amy's character is maturing and growing, with the help of Penny and Bernadette, into someone who has, not only a sharp mind, but also emotions. All in all, I really enjoyed the episode.

Big Bang is a show I can always count on to bring laughter.

Finally , i could say this is big bang theory's comeback episode?

Well the initial 5 minutes were boring. It pumps up from when meemaw enters , the fights , sheldons excitement pumps you up. According to me me RAJ stole this episode with his flirty desires with clair and even his funny acts.

penny and leonard relationship started getting weird and amy as usual (never really likednthat character) was greasy in her own way

Well i'm pretty happy this show is getting back around 9.5/10 It got 9.5 because after all these shitty episodes , this is the one i actually laughed out loud. Well its worth a watch

Continuity issues again

The storyline with Meemaw is ok, but the Raj/Howard/Bernadette storyline shows how little writers on sitcoms care about continuity. Bernadette says she had doubts about her relationship with Howard, but he says he had no doubts. There was an entire episode wherein Howard questions whether Bernadette is the right girl for him. Katee Sackhoff and George Takei even made guest appearances in that episode. This sort of continuity error happens a lot in this show.

Aside from blatant continuity issues with backstory - the woman playing his grandma is just wrong. She's from Illinois for one thing - and not believable as an old woman from east Texas. Other than that the writers turned her into an insufferable b. After everything Sheldon has said about her it just doesn't make sense. It really needed a famous person playing her I think and a totally new writing staff. The raj subplot is labored at best but keeps with his character. Overall the episode just doesn't work well and only serves to reveal the secret of the ring. I think his grandmother should have stayed off screen.

Meemaw is a b****

The show has hyped up who Meemaw was for a long time, so now when we see her, we supposed to hate her? She's a terrible person, and kind of makes me feel like this was a total mis-step. Somethings get revealed that make it important, but it's in a way that's so hurtful, and Meemaw is so mean to Amy. I've never really cared for Amy but like this episode makes me feel for her much more. Either way the episode is cruel and made a character id thought we'd never see, terrible.

I don't know why they would bring this character in now, when the show has had Amy around for 5 seasons building up her character. It's obvious whatever Meemaw does isn't going to change where the show goes. This makes things worse too because it's just predictable where the show is going to go.

Hate it.

I hate this episode. Meemaw is in my opinion just a nasty person. Surprisingly Sheldon is blinded by the fact. Wish it was his mom again. A very funny character.
