F is for Football

Warning: Spoilers
This was probably the most humorous episode yet. I loved the suck up interactions with his boss (kind of like Strickland from KotH) and found the horrifying public restroom scene so relatable. If you've ever been a crowded sports game, it's not too far off.

Frank's racism makes an appearance again in a plot heavy way. F is for Family paints Frank as an Archie Bunker archetype. I've gained more sympathy for him the past two episodes, when you see the crap he has to put up with. This episode had more plot lines, but it was mainly about Frank desperately trying to juggle a power struggle at work. Even if you don't work an office job, there's always internal politics and conflicts between employees, so I find that pretty relatable too. All around, as we get already halfway through the season, it will be interesting to see how Frank tries to keep his life together as his job becomes a mess and Kevin continues to slip through the cracks.

Warning: Spoilers
The dad takes his younger son instead of the older to the game. His oldest son did not finish history assignments. On the drive to the game the dad drives away from a black man and gave up his corporate seats for his boss. The boss's wife named Brandy takes the youngest son to the washroom where men urinate and throw up in a disgusting trough. The oldest son is doing drugs with two other boys instead of homework. The mom and Maureen are out shopping where the mom states she wished she never got married and her life is not perfect. She has nothing outside of being a mom and selling her plastic containers. The dad runs out of gas on the drive home and his black coworker gives him gas at a bar. The black man believes the dad cannot be trusted when he finds out the dad was promoted and drove away from helping the white man disguised as a black man. On their way home the dad and son stop to urinate on the side of the road together.

Like, does Jesus have a zip code? No? Maybe?

The telephone cord has no knots in it. This time.

Take your youngest son to an alcohol fueled sports thing. Yeah.

Wait! What!? Kevin's History teacher calls Frank on a Sunday to say that Kevin is failing History?
