- In season 3 a 13 year old girl is a sex worker, the money she makes she spends on heroin, which she later dies from, she is found in her uniform with a needle in her arm where she usually meets her clients. On numerous occasions the girl is heckled and lured at by much older teenagers and men. On one occasion she is nearly raped by 2 men but is rescued just in time.
Violence & Gore
- The entirety of series 2 revolves around the murders of children. It is often discussed in detail how they were killed including: lobotomising, slicing open the childrens stomaches and injections. There bodies are dressed up and photographed, these pictures are seen often as are decomposed bodies of children.
- Series 3 ends in a moderately violent gun fight, the majority of the people involved are killed including a mother with a new born baby just feet away
