Great fast paced story telling by one of Ireland finest at the peak of his abilities some laugh out loud moments. Building the channel tunnel was never funnier. JCBs building holes under holes and man from New York. It all here.

Good show, good interaction with the audience.

This was the first show I watched from Dara O Briain and it was enjoyable. Dara O Briain is a good entertainer, he knows how to tell a story. He's a fast talker so to fill a 90 minute show without getting boring isn't an easy thing to do. I was entertained for the entire show, not necessarily by the jokes which were mild but effective, but more by his interaction with the audience. He has spontaneous answers to everybody and in every situation. Improvisation isn't the easiest thing in comedy but when you can manage that you're already a step ahead to everybody. Dara O Briain is good at it and in Crowd Tickler it showed. Well worth a watch.

I will come back on now

One of my all time favourite stand up comedians of all time, Dara O Briain is naturally funny without getting to silly or other the top whilst his capacity to interact with the audience is miles ahead of rivals. He is the sort of bloke you could have a right laugh in a pub with. I have just booked tickets to see him in March knowing he is incapable of a let down. It's the kind of joy you get when having a laugh with your closest friends in life. He is very knowledgable, sophisticated however he still has an awareness of the simplicity of life. Children elbows off the table now where did that come from? Why is this lad still filming does he not realise he is on the dvd and Helium is running low for silly voices and balloons. Dara is very culturally aware amongst humorous whilst telling his stories.

At his best

Quite simply, if you like Dara, you'll love the show. It just builds and gets funnier. This doesn't need a big and full on arty review, breaking down the societal reasons why it's good does it? It made me laugh!

Another great performance from the big man from Bray

I have yet to see a bad performance from DOB. His style is quick and fearless. He loves to interact with the audience and takes talent to pull off. Saw him live in Vicar Street and my head hurt from laughing...may need an MRI...hope they still have helium.

Waste of time

This is the first time I have seen Dara O'Briain do stand-up and I now understand why he's merely the compère of Mock the Week - he's just not a good enough comedian to hold a stage by himself. He seems an affable enough chap and you'd probably enjoy a chat with him, but he's not an entertainer. Don't waste your time.
