Never read the manga

Warning: Spoilers
Its an all-over cliche, nothing new. If you have watch a lot of movie based on shoujo manga. You will find every single thing in this movie is already used a lot of time. I bet the manga is better because it have more time to develop the character. It have 19 volume you know, how the hell can they compressed 19 vol in 2 hour movie? So it just become eh? eh? why? Who the hell is this guy? Why they suddenly become closer? And the worst thing is, they never show the play of brass band team, just the baseball. Its unfair.

Boring
mister_bateman9 December 2020
I didn't like the main girl or find her interesting, which kept me from getting invested from the start. A little shyness is cute, but she acts meek and timid like a beaten dog, which got annoying really quickly. On top of that she is pretty mediocre looking and has the hairstyle of a middle aged mom. The male character is a nice guy, but the two just don't really fit together or have much chemistry. The whole story lacks depth, suspense and intrigue. There is way too much boring girl drama. It could have been told in 45 minutes, but instead it drags out for two hours. Bottom line: Boring.

TWO ARE FAIR
gonijohn12 March 2019
I give 2 points because of Tao Tsuchiya (cute as always). This movie has two messages and I don't know which of them is the worst. First, the important thing is to achieve the guy his goals (no kisses until he wins), her winning is less important. Second, we have to suppress our feelings until we succeed in something, excuse me but if we can do this, these, are not true feelings. (In our life, there is no period without critical goals, and I ensure you more important than a high school baseball match)

this tells me an important thing

This is the school love story. There are two main character. One is the girl, a little inexperienced but has principle, who belongs to brass band and play trumpet. Another is a boy, tall and cool, who belongs to baseball club and wants to win the championship. At the day of high school entrance ceremony, they talk for the first time. She is impressed by his desire to participate in Koshien which is the most famous baseball tournament. They have a dream and they improve together through friendly rivalry. In that process, she falls in love with him. A lot of people say that this movie is boring, but I like this movie. This movie tells me to make an effort to one's dream come true. They have a lot of difficulties in the process, but they never give up. The efforts are never to be wastes. Continuing is very important. There is such a proverb. "Endurance makes you strong." This proverb expresses this movie very well.

Good enough

Warning: Spoilers
Refreshing story, but extremely boring. Okay, the plot was okay, with a girl who tries to play trumpet at her school club and a boy who wants to win the championship with the school baseball team. The film focused on their efforts to become the best in their field and to fulfil their dreams. With some ups and downs (which were the few only twists of the movie) they strive and overcome their difficulties. However, the movie never reaches that point where you can finally see that they had succeeded. Especially for the girl, we only see some scenes at the very end, when the movie has already finished. Good performances from the actors help a lot to make this movie better. However, the romance was extremely weak. So, 4 out of 10.
